Our 60th Anniversary online 'Zoom' Reunion was held on the University's Commemoration Day, 14th June 2023.
Helpful assistance was provided by the University's Alumni Office in preparing official invitation Emails for our reunion.
Emily Howie, Head of Alumni & Supporter Engagement, recorded a special 'Congratulations' video for the event.
We managed to make contact with 17 extant former classmates, of whom 11 actively took part in the online reunion.
The others gave apologies either due to illness or being abroad on holiday.
In the overall group of 17, there are:
4 University Professors, 3 of whom are Emeritus, and 1 who is retired.
5 others with additional qualifications, including 3 with PhDs, 1 with a research MSc, and 1 with an OBE.
Several others in our cohort, now sadly deceased, had similar academic and professional success in their chosen careers.
Much can be credited to the excellent grounding obtained in our 1960's honours degree course in Natural Philosophy at Glasgow University.
